The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revolutionized the landscape of school education in India. As the oldest and most prestigious national education board, CBSE has contributed immensely to academic consistency and growth, providing affiliation to numerous schools across the country and abroad.
Initially established in 1921 as the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education, the board came under central jurisdiction in 1929 and was later renamed the CBSE. It was reorganized in 1962 to meet the needs of children of government employees who frequently relocated due to job transfers. Today, CBSE caters to students from LKG to Class 12 and ensures a standardized education framework that is recognized both nationally and internationally.
